Anyone ever get an extension on their taxes??
We went to the accountant today and in the end thanks to my idiot of a husband we had to file an extension. I don't know why, feel like an idiot but I am very upset over it. I stupidly had tears leaving there, I felt cheap and dirty (I don't know why)
I am the kind of person that likes things to go smoothly and this didn't and is totally bugging me. Argh!!! Totally ruined my day..now I am going shopping and for a mani pedi so hopefully it will brighten up.

We had an extention last year and this year... due to my DH owning his own business the accountant just didn't have the business end of it done in time.. It's not a big deal

We have the same issue, DH and his own darn business!!

Not a big deal
I've never needed an extention personally, but my boss has to all the time. This year his accountant just couldn't get everything together in time and it probably has alot to with the business but still.... more common than you think.

Yes, duing my first year of teaching- I didn't get my W-2s- the payroll woman was totally incompetent and it took ages for the replacements to come.
