Little Baby WEDGED in my ribs!

For the last week, my little baby has taken up residency in my ribs. It really hurts! I push back a little and feel her wiggling around and pushing back at me. Sometimes she moves away for 5-10 minutes but then she is right back in my ribs. Any suggestions?

Push her down! No really I think you can gently push to move her a bit-but check with your Dr. It makes sense since they try to position babies out of breech position. Try raising your arms over your head to streetch your torso a bit

I wouldn't do anything. Talk to your dr. See what they say.

I would try sitting and lying down in different positions - when my baby is acting up or in a position thats painful for me - it always tend to move when i change positions - i would never forceable try and baby the move though.

If it becomes unbareable, definitely talk to your doctor.

there is mention of this in the what to expect when you're expecting book. they suggest some positions to help dislodge the little one, and if that doesn't work they say to wait it out as given time she will naturally drop.

My baby has been in my ribs for months now and it's only gotten worse as he's gotten bigger. Even now my belly has dropped quite a bit, but he is still lodged up there. I think his butt got stuck in there!

Re: Little Baby WEDGED in my ribs!

She seems to have moved for the time being. I have my monthly appointment today and I'm going to ask the dr to do a sono because I've been having a lot of pain in my belly and I want to make sure she is OK.
