bring a night light with you to plug into the outlets to make sure they all work.. run the hot and cold water,flush the toilets, open and close the windows..
I cant think of anything else right now, but i know someone posted a whole list on here once..

Make sure all appliances work, turn on washing machine, dryer, stove, dishwasher, make sure fridge & freezer are holding their temps.
TURN ON THE BOILER!!! We did this at ours & had a puffback!
