Geek Squad (Best Buy)?
A Geek Squad'er is scheduled to be at my home today to work on my computer (ram/harddrive updates), it's costing approximately $300 - am I supposed to tip???? If so, how much?

what is wrong with your computer?
300 for anything to repair a computer (if it doesn't include parts) is alot of money
to install new memory (ram) it takes prehaps 15 secs..... (are you getting more?)
hard drive updates? can you explain?
bestbuy/geeksquad is the most overrated thing since sliced bread...

they're going to de-partition my drive, add another harddrive (prodcut cost), and then add more ram....

imo, you are being jacked......it takes 3 mins to install a hard drive..... which can cost around 100 bucks new in store (for like 300 gigs)
ram from best buy is expensive
(how much is in the machine now?)
de partion drive? why? you can do that with software that comes with windows (depending on the setup)
