The old favorite questions thread....
Rightyho, so I know that these questions have all been asked and answered before, but I am too knackered tonight to search for them, so I am asking them again...please come, answer them...
1. How old was your kiddypop when you started them on cheerios???
2. How the bloody hell does one mix formula powder in a Dr. Browns bottle without it leaking all over the place when one is not at home?
3. I am sure that I had more questions, but can't remember now...

8 months

They sell those caps that screw on- I used those to shake it, then took off the cap and put the insides back in the bottle.

- Like the PP those travel caps are great and the key is to mix it with warm water. If it hot it will clump and if it is cold it wont dissolve it as well. I also noticed that if the water is warm I dont need the travel caps I just put all the pieces together and shake it.

Dr.Browns sells travel caps. Prefill your water in the bottle, powder formula in dispenser. Take out guts of bottle, pour in formula, put on travel cap and shake, put guts back in and you are good to go. Takes seconds to do and doesn't leak at all.....

Sorry to hijack, but does that mixer thingy make the formula bubbly? I have one of those little mixer things, not meant for formula, but it makes it more frothy. Does it just mix it without putting extra air in it?
I am very curious
TIA!

I find it to be less bubbly and gassy then shaking which hopefully helps with Hannah's issues. I would also suggest not over doing it.....We're not churning butter

I agree about the hand blender. We have it and I love it. Definitely less bubbly than shaking!

Re: The old favorite questions thread....
I can't answer your Dr. Brown's question since we use Playtex ... but I can tell you that we started cheerios somewhere around 7 months. She was already rocking the puffs so she did fine on them!
