If your BCP is triphasic, do you notice weight gain, more breakouts?
I was on Yasmin but my gyn suggested Cyclessa/Velivet because it's similar and cheaper. What she DID NOT tell me is that Yasmin was monophasic...all delivering the same hormones at the same time...and this new one is triphasic. Although I want to trust her...I'm in week 3 of my new pill...slightly stomach sick, and breaking out. I'm such a pretty sight right now! LOL!

I just went from a triphasic to Yasmin because of mid-cycle bleeding. My dr. said they found that no BC pills cause weight gain. You may feel sick on that particular one, but another triphasic may not have that effect. I was on ortho-tri cyclen which actually helped my skin. I actually felt sicker on Yasmin than on Ortho tri, and I felt very very depressed on Yasmin.
