Is it bad when the baby decreases the amount they are eating?
Last week Aly was s*cking dry a 5 oz bottle so I started giving her 6 and she'd leave over 1/2-1 oz. This week.....I'm lucky if she takes a full 6 oz....she'll do 2-4 oz and fall asleep.

I believe its ok. The doctor once told me this when I asked . Think of yourself that you ar not always hungry. I think as long as she is eating most of it you are ok. Good luck

They increase during growth spurts. Maybe Aly was going through one & just ate a lot for a little while.

We've been all over the place with how much she eats. I used to get myself in a frenzy about it. Now I've just stopped worrying.
Is she still having wet diapers? That's the most important thing.

I wouldn't worry too much about it... Alex's appetite waxes and wanes a lot. Especially right after a growth spurt, her appetite decreases significantly. And, as well, when she's teething, she hardly eats at all... but she has more than enough baby fat to keep her going during her dry spells
