DH van and Truck were broken into last night
Well I wouldnt exactly say broken into but someone went into the van took nothing but his change, his wallet and CC's were right there, construction tools, golf clubs etc but took nothing. Then the arsehole went into our garage and opened DHs truck door but that is when our dogs hear it and come out of the wood shop barking like MAD. The person then took a push broom to fend off the dogs because we found the broom on our front lawn. DH parks his cars in the back of our house. Our dogs have an electric fence so we dont think much about leaving things back there open since we have 2 large dogs. The police said that there are 4-5 people that do this all the time and all they take is change because it's nearly impossible to prove. I hate crackheads!

wow I'm glad all they got away with was the change!
still... what a violation! 
and why would he leave his wallet in the car  you just can't do that these days.

and why would he leave his wallet in the car you just can't do that these days.
Because it's in our back yard. Our own property. Our dogs are usually in the garage and bark at the wind blowing, last night they were in the shop, didn't hear. Our dogs, although a little late, they did their job. I park my car in the street since it's easier with the kids and it's always locked. DH learned his lesson. Could have been worse.
