extended weekend getaway
I'm looking to get away for a long weekend in the middle of November....what's a good spot, someplace we can drive to?

LOOOVE the poconos in the fall. A nice housekeeping cottage on a lake where they let you bring your pets and they have a boat for you to borrow :o)

newport ri- on the water, vineyards great restaurants and bars cute b&b's and 3.5 hours from nassau county
we just got back from a weekend there - it was raining and we still had a blast
