Re: those who passed the glucose 1 hour test
I ate normally. I think my test was at 10:30 am and I ate my usual breakfast of cereal at 8ish. I don't remember what I ate the day before, but I don't think I ate tons of sweets nor did I avoid anything.

It's not a fasting test. Eat normally

Re: those who passed the glucose 1 hour test
I think I even had some fruit the morning of my glucose test and I still passed without a problem. I wouldn't try to do anything different so that the test can get a true gage of your levels.

Re: those who passed the glucose 1 hour test
I ate normally as well. I was told not to eat one hour before drinking the drink, and of course one hour after drinking it.
I had frosted flakes exactly one hour before drinking. Then I realized that I should have had something without so much sugar, but I still passed.
Good luck

I was told to eat normal too! But I definitely stayed away from cr@p before the test knowing that I didnt want to take a 3 hr. I ate a salad just to be safe.

Re: those who passed the glucose 1 hour test
My doctor told me that if I should have protein (no sugars/carbs) if I needed to have something before the test. I ended up not having anything because I went right away in the morning, so technically, I did fast.
I didn't eat any different the day before. Dessert was the last thing I ate.
