i had a c/s and a vbirth and neither of them were that bad.
i wish my dh wouldnt put out! mine wont leave me alone.
When the DR put me on pelvic rest...and said to both me and FH... NO SEX!!! I was celebrating in my head!!! It so nice to be able to get into bed and just go to sleep at night...
However its only been a week...so I might be regreting even saying this by next wed.

Don't worry, at 36 weeks I was not effaced or dilated one bit, but when my water broke at 37 weeks, he arrived a few hours later.... Just because your not dilated or effaced, doesn't mean you'll end up having a c/s! You've got time! Now get your DH working!! 
Similar here and believe me no sex was involved with that baby coming out.

I can just imagine what your DH's face looked like when you told him that!
Me on the other hand... well we didnt have that problem. DH was "stepping up to the plate" until the day before I went into labor... thats actually what sent me into labor
