Bakers - Vanilla Question
I use to buy any old vanilla from the supermarket. Then I started hearing from some veteran bakers that buying 'good' vanilla is so important in baking.
what are you thoughts? Do you notice a difference?
I gave in and bought Nielsen-Massey vanilla from Williams Sonoma, finished the bottle on many different items and uh..... I didn't notice the difference

Re: Bakers - Vanilla Question
there is a difference in imitation vanilla extract and pure vanilla extract.
one is artificial and one is actual vanilla extract from real vanilla beans. That's the only difference I notice
