Head support in carseat
This has probably been posted before (but I am being lazy )
What did you use for head support while they were in the car seat. Ali's head keeps falling over - so I always sit in the back with her to keep lifting her head. Since I am starting to get out and start driving on my own - I can't sit in the back with her then, so I need something.

Re: Head support in carseat
I posted a pic and info about this but I dont know where the post is...I'll look for it. But BRU sells these support things that velcro on to the carseat harness and work SO GREAT. I use them all the time and they fully support Katie's head...and they're only $9.99. Let me see if I can find a pic.

Re: Head support in carseat
Is the head falling forward or to the side? If its forward, you may want to double check that the seat is installed at the proper angle.

Falling forward. As per the thing on the car seat it shows it is correct. But I really should get it checked.

Re: Head support in carseat
I found the Graco snugride car seats are terrible when it comes to supporting their head. Mine is installed right too but her head constantly falls forward because the car sear is at such an angle.

I have the snugride and Gracie's head falls to her left side. We tried similar pads but they did not help with her head falling to her side. We ended up folding a burp cloth in half and placed it on the left side of her head. That seems to work well.

Re: Head support in carseat
I have the Graco Metrolite. I roll two recieving blankets and I place them on each side of the baby's head outside of the existing head support. It really helps keep his head straight.

Re: Head support in carseat
I had no problems with Hayley's head falling forward in her Graco Snugride infant seat. Now that she is in her "big girl car seat" it falls forward but she is old enough now to correct herself.

Re: Head support in carseat
I rolled up a towel and put it under the car seat base so the seat was tipped back more.
