Are there any websites to find out crime rates in certain areas??

We are moving to Florida and want to check out the areas. TIA!

If you know the precint of the area you are moving in, you can check their webpage. Usually they post the crime rates on that or you can go to the Florida State Home page and look for their police departments and research from there. I think they will probably post that the same way they do for the NYPD precints.

omg! according to the site, we have 25 registered sex offenders in our area!
We live in a nice town!

A friend sent this to me when we were looking to move. Although there aren't any in our immediate area, I felt better knowing there was a place to look up registered sex offenders. Very scary!
