Spinoff to my first AF off the pill question
When you went off BCP, how long was your first period?
Was it different from AF on the pill?
I've had AF since last Monday  I'm ready to kill......
BTW: my AF was usually 5 days

I went off one month because I ran out of pills... and I went from 4-5 days to over a week!!!

your body need time to adjust getting off the pill. For me i was on for 6 years, came off of the pill and was off amybe a day or too and it lasted 5 days-7.

My AF while on the pill (for 10 years) was heavy the first 2 or so days, then light for like 3 or 4 more...so, I had to use feminine products for 6 days. 
Now, in my 3rd month off BCP, my periods are a breeze (watch me jinx myself ) They have been super light, and last only like 3 or 4 days. No heavy days at all.
It's tough trying to figure our bodies out-- good luck!

really??????? That's like the exact reverse of what is the norm.......

I had 1-2 heavy days max, followed by 2 days of spotting. It's heaven compared to what it used to be!

Yup, it's true. My periods were never SUPER heavy, but the heaviest days were the 1st and 2nd really, and it just lingered for 3 or so more days. And now, it's so super light and short (although I'm not used to such a short cycle so I always wear the products longer  ) Like I said, I've only had 2 periods since being off BCP, so it could all change, unfortunately!!
