Re: Satellite Radio

you can buy it at an electronics store - circuit city, best buy, etc or you can go online and purchase it straight from the satillite services website.

Re: Satellite Radio

I ordered the unit from Amazon around Christmas last year for DH. You can buy it at Best Buy or Circuit City too.

We have XM and LOVE it

I got this for DH for his birthday...he had to have the boom-box and the car thingy. Then...he couldn't get reception at work on the boom-box, so he listens through his computer instead...and the boom-box sits in the box Chat Icon

Re: Satellite Radio

We have Xm and it's about $13 a month. DH actually bought the radio kit from E-Bay abd got it at an awesome price. We paid about $65 for installation. We LOVE our XM Radio! We travel to Virginia a lot so it gets a lot of use.

Re: Satellite Radio

Two of my co-workerd bought it online (Amazon) and installed in themselves. One for XM, the other for Sirius.

I'm thinking about the XM service, but am unsure if I want to have it installed in my current car since I plan on buying a new one in the next 6-12 months.

It doesn't stink...he uses the boom box sometimes when doing work in the garage or something...but in his office, he couldn't get reception. If we knew he could use his subscription to listen via the computer...we probably wounldn't have gotten the boom-box and just got the car piece.
