Do they sell a bedrail for a toddler bed?
My daughter is going into a toddler bed and I dont think the 1/2 rail that is attached to it will be enough in the beginning so I wanted to remove it and put a bedrail that goes under the mattress. But I'm not seeing anything out there, at least not at Babies R Us. Does anyone know if they sell them for toddler beds?

Did you try Target or One Step Ahead?
How are you feeling, btw?

I got this bedrail for Aidans bed (BRU), he is in a twin bed but this one expands and gets smaller so maybe you can make it fit the size you want.
What is the total length? Maybe the regular bedrail will cover the entire side?

read in consumer reports that they are agianst it more accidents happen with a child getting stuck or hurting themselves with the bedrails

they can't get stuck with the above rail as it sits on top of the mattress as opposed to flush with it.

I got this toddler bed for Andrew, I was wondering if you think this is enough or do I need a rail like you are doing? I have no even got the bed ready yet, and will keep him in his crib for a few more months, but I'm thinking ahead!

I got one at k-mart I have seen them at BRU and walmart and target.
Marissa's crib converted into a toddler bed so I needed to get a bed rail do to the fact that I just took off the front of the crib. I use it cuz marissa happens to move all over the place when she sleeps so I am afraid that as she sleeps and moves that she might fall out and so far no problems with it

Mine has the same size rail built in as well. But she moves around alot and didnt want her falling out when she was first getting use to being cribless. I have a feeling I might just have to get her use to it. DH's high tech idea is to put a box up against the lower half so she cant roll out.

I put a pillow along side of them while they're sleeping. Works pretty well & it makes them feel snuggled.

When my DD went into the toddler bed i was worried about the same thing. The instructions specifically state that you should not use the bedrails with the toddler bed. SHe has fallen out, but its a short drop- they dont get hurt.
