X post from pregnancy Fetal echo cardiogram?
Did anyone have to get this done while they were preggo? I saw my endo yesterday and she said I need to get it done, because I am diabetic and I have a higher chance of having a baby with heart problems I have a OBGYN appt tonight so I will get more info there but was just wondering if anyone else had to get this done. TIA

I had these done. It is the same as a regular sonogram, they just focus on the heart and usually do it on a better machine then regular ones.

My SIL had it done with her son. They identified a congenital heart defect at 6 mos. She had GD, but it was completely unrelated to the heart defect.

I had one after the doctor got an irregular heartbeat during our regular visit. It's just like a sonogram and another opportunity to see your little bean.
