AMBER ALERT IN RAMAPO...
The Town of Ramapo Police Department has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred on 28 Trinity Avenue, in Town of Ramapo, New York at about 3:00 PM on 4/24/2006.
The CHILD, Mara D. Downes is a Black female, approximately 13 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 0 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. Mara was last seen wearing a Sacred Heart School Uniform consisting of burgandy sweatpants, white tee-shirt with school logo and white sneakers. She was also wearing heart shaped earrings, gold crucifix necklace,an August birthstone ring and 2 gold bracelets..
The VEHICLE has been identified as a Silver and gold 4-door sedan 1997 Toyota Camry with New York license plate number CPF8770. Vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the month of April.
The VEHICLE was last seen traveling South on Trinity Avenue in the Town of Ramapo possibly heading for Unknown destination..
Victim was abducted by 3 black males wearing masks, a struggle took place and she was thrown into the trunk of the vehicle.
Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the Town of Ramapo Police Department at (866) NYS-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.

When I turned on the TV, I think I heard that they found her, unharmed. I was in the other room though, so I'm not 100% sure.
