Picture taking question
When you go on vacation with your SO how do you get pics together? Do you always ask other people or try to use the self timer?

Re: Picture taking question
I use the self timer alot, but if I see another couple that looks like they might want a picture I tell them "I will take one for you if you take one for me"

Re: Picture taking question
WE have started putting it on self timer. If we see another couple we will ask them to take one for us, then I will see if they want us to take one of them.

Re: Picture taking question
DH will talk to anyone, so he'll ask people to take our picture...
Usually he finds the people who don't speak English to ask...

Re: Picture taking question
I ask other people, and then offer to take one for them. At restaurants, I often ask our waiter or waitress.

Re: Picture taking question
We ask other people. DH speaks 3 other languages, so we're in pretty good shape in that regard.

Re: Picture taking question
Usually self timer. Seems like whenever we ask someone to take it, it doesnt come out. Digital delay I guess.

Re: Picture taking question
My husband and I went to Japan on holiday a few years ago and the Japanese people were constantly stopping us and asking us if they could take a picture for us! Well not ask using the power of language, but doing that camera gesture...
Anyway, now whereever I go on holiday I always ask people if they want a picture taken of them as a couple/group so that they can have one!
You know what they say, one good turn deserve another!!!
