This has been asked over and over, but I'll ask again anyhow.. feeling the baby move
Just looking for more input as to when you all started feeling your babies move...
I'm a bit over 19 wks along today and I honestly don't feel much of ANYTHING. Not even fluttering really, which I know can start earlier. I *thought* I felt some weird bubbly/tickling feelings while we were away but nothing specific or that I could actually be sure of... The past couple days, I felt the ligament pains/stretching but def. no movement.
I'm not overly concerned about the baby, I have a doppler and the heartbeat is nice and strong. I guess I'm just sad that I dont feel the baby more yet Yes further to my 'emotions' post I was crying about this last night, that I don't feel like there is even a baby in there ( yes I'm a nut and yes DH was ready to commit me, since I was saying that as I actually HEARD the baby move on the doppler )
Soo...... humor me. Should I be worried I'm not feeling much of ANYTHING yet?

I asked this question last week (while you were sunning yourself on vacation ). I haven't felt anything yet either...the consensus I got was around 20 weeks or so. It should be right around the corner for us both.

Flee- I didn't feel this little one until after 20 weeks so I wouldn't get yourself too worked up over it. Before I officially said "yes thats him" I felt little vibrations in my belly so based on your post...the little tickles you felt on vacation could just be your little one!

You should not be worried at all Don't worry in time you will want your little bean to settle down in there so you can get some rest

Ooh me bad, I should have done a search since I know this question is posted a lot
I'm glad I'm not alone Kim, I read these things like you feel the flutters much earlier than we're at now and then I sit here and think aw crap, why do I feel NOTHING at all in there?!
So hopefully some kicking and jabbing action will start up in there soon (I"ll prob. live to regret thes words!!)

Eat some fruit!
Nah...try not to worry. I can understand being sad about it but you WILL feel the baby move very soon.
You might be feeling it now and just not picking up on it. Have you tried drinking something sweet at night and laying very very still? Eating some fruit always worked like a charm for me.
Try that and if it doesn't work, don't stress. It's really only a matter of days before you'll feel a nice solid kick!

I think everybody feels the baby differently and at different times depending on their body. I wouldn't worry. I feel the baby a lot at night. And when I am sitting still. There are times I know he/she is sleeping and other times active. I feel everything from little pings to a wave feeling.

The beginning feels like two things one is like little wings flittering around. Then it can also feel like a twitch. You know like a little muscle spasm. Thats the best way I can describe it and I bet with in the next couple of weeks you will start to feel it

Re: This has been asked over and over, but I'll ask again anyhow.. feeling the baby move
Don't worry!!!
At my 19 week appt. 4 weeks ago I was only feeling the baby once or twice every 3-4 days. Then a week later I felt him A LOT more, and then by week 21 I felt him everyday. Some days more than others. But now I'm at 23 weeks and I feel him everyday many times a day, again, some days more than others. I can even see my belly move when I feel the baby. But I also want to add that my baby is measuring 2 weeks bigger, so that may be why. But don't worry... it's coming REAL soon!!!
Here are some more...
Oh... at week 19 I also posted the same thing!!!

I love you girls .. thanks as always for making me feel better. I've prob. been feeling a little bit of movement and not even realizing it, but lately it's just my nature to overanalyze everything
thanks again all

Re: This has been asked over and over, but I'll ask again anyhow.. feeling the baby move
Like everyone else said, don't worry about it. It took me a couple of weeks to figure out what I was feeling. Every time I went to 'concentrate' on what I was feeling, it wouldn't happen.
The best time for me to feel the baby is at night, laying in bed. I just kept my hand on my tummy and would get a good kick every now and then.
Before you know it, you will be able to feel the baby all the time.
Hope you like Atlantis as much as I did. My favorite restaurant was the one with the fish tanks for walls - forget the name - but it reminded me of my wedding.

Re: This has been asked over and over, but I'll ask again anyhow.. feeling the baby move
With my 1st pg...I felt some fluttering once in a while, not often at all at like 18-19 weeks, I didnt feel movements till around 22 weeks and it was still faint, and missable if I wasnt waiting for it....
I think your normal. My dr's always said people who feel anything before 20 weeks is on the rare side of the coin.
