BF moms ? about Mood swings.....
I have been BF DD for 10mts now and my hormones are still out of control, I sometimes get my period twice in one month, and I get extremely bad PMS!! I feel so bad for my DH cause I have been yelling at him so much lately for no reason. I just feel like I'm so stressed out all the time, and I snap at everyone for anything. Does any other BF mom's get this way? If so how do you deal with it? TIA

Re: BF moms ? about Mood swings.....
It definitely happens. I know everyone's body is different. I felt that my PMS was much worse after having children (I nursed for 11 mos/supplemented about 5-8mos). I mentioned my PMS to my ob/gyn. I said "I've been getting much more pronounced symptoms. Cramping & I feel like stabbing people at the slightest provation."
He said to take advil or motrin for cramps & Vitamin B12 for stabbings.
I have to say, it seems to have helped.

Re: BF moms ? about Mood swings.....
I would think it varies by person. But the first 12 months I BF, I did not get AF, and I was sooo moody/sad/angry and every day was different. I got AF back at 12 month pp and I think I am back to normal, at least now my moodiness is more isolated to a few days a month.
