? about contractions??
I am 33 weeks and I have been having contrations for a couple of weeks now and been in and out of the hospital, my question is when my stomach gets really tight am I having a contraction?

Sounds like it.. Be careful trying to decipher BH contractions and regular labor contractions.. you can drive yourself mad!!LOL..
Braxton Hicks is usually a tightening without pain, and a real contraction can literally take away your breath.. Good luck!

from what I have read, BH are a tightening of the whole tummy, starting at the top whereas real contractions are more like AF cramps and stay in the lower abdomen.
