laminate flooring
i have it my house and love it. (the "wood" kind.) i got it at a GREAT price at levitz last year.
does anyone know if anyone is having a sale on it? or have great prices? ill look later at the stores, but i wanted to know if anyone had noticed anything while out shopping or in a flyer/throwaway.

We just got ours at Ikea (yes Ikea...I was shocked they had it!) and it was anywhere from $21 - $47 per box (one box = 24 sq ft).
It was really easy to install & looks better than the pergo in the Kitchen.

my dad is going to do it for them, so thats ok. i never thought to check BJs or ikea. thanks for the ideas!

I got mine from Levitz as well!! I think he said they go on sale pretty often there! HTH

That cheap for REAL wood flooring. Can't be solid must have a real wood veneer on composite board which doesn't really matter unless you plan on sanding it ten times.

I wanted to tell you we ended up putting down a wood floor in our place but when we were looking into pricing check out Home depot and Lowes. ( we were torn between wood & laminate- both gorgeous)
Home Depot was more expensive then Lowes but Home Depot matched the price that Lowes gave us- we brought in the print out of the pricing from our computer.
Home Depot matched the price and took additional $$$$ off- we saved 800.00!!!!!!!!
Definitely -shop around and compare .
