Spinoff to Makeup - share tips.
Does anyone want to share makeup tips?
I'd interested in any eyeshadow application tips.

Ok, you start w/ dark tones on your eye lid...middle eyelid should be lighter maybe add some nice shimmer to your eyes.

Re: Spinoff to Makeup - share tips.
I just got a makeup application lesson so to speak from Mary Kay.
It's kinda hard to explain but I will try, this is using 3 shades of color
1- take the middle shade and apply to your whole eyelid up to the brow
2- take the darkest shade and put in the crease from outside to inside
3- take the lightest shade and put right under the brow and blend down.
Does that make any sense at all?

That makes perfect sense. Thanks!

Re: Spinoff to Makeup - share tips.
I would say pick 3 different 'shades' of a color.
The medium shade should go on our eyelid. The darkest shade should be just in the corner like this < to add accent. The lightest shade should be on the top part up to your brow bone.
You can use different colors for this too. And add a shimmer to your upper lid.

That was pretty much what I was trying to explain, but you did a better job at explaining it.

Re: Spinoff to Makeup - share tips.
Create soft eyes with subtle shimmer for day or night. Use a light shadow all over the lid, medium shadow on the lower lid, and dark shadow to line the eyes. Follow Bobbi's steps below to create the look on this model.

Thanks, that's only b/c I was there this weekend or I wouldn't have been able to explain at all.

How do you make the < though? I could never perfect it... mind u, I have brushes, but don't know which to use for what...
