We went last summer and stayed at Secrets in Punta Cana...it was great! If you do I search, I posted a review and pics back in August.

We went a few years ago and stayed at the RIU Naiboa. We got a great deal and had a great time. It wasn't that luxurious, but you can stay at the RIU Palace if you're looking for luxury. There are 5 resorts that share ammenities, but you can only use the Palace ammenities if you're staying there.

I second Secrets! Do a search for my name, I posted a LOT of pictures from when I was there a few years ago.

I went quite a few years ago - myabe over 5 now...wow....I had a great time. We stayed at the iberostar bavarro. It is one of three connected Iberostars and when staying there you can use the facilities of all 3. It is adults only (or was when I went).
Debbie's DR website (google it) - is a great resource for DR travel and reviews.

we stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana, had an awesome time... overall we love DR and have been there twice...

Another vote for Secrets! We went last year for our honeymoon, loved it! We're going to the other Secrets Excellence in Riveria Maya in a few months because we loves Secrets so much.
