Does anyone know the pool/fence law?
We thinking about buying an inflatable 14 foot round pool, about 3 1/2 feet deep. I don't know if inflatable pools are subject to fencing laws? And if they are I need to know what I have to do? Anyone have any thoughts as to how I can get the info? My mom actually works as a permit expeditor but when she asked the town they couldn't even give her a clear answer.

Re: Does anyone know the pool/fence law?
In Riverhead if your pool has over 24" of water in it it has to be enclosed by atleast a 4' high fence. If you have access to your towns building permit codes look there for a swimming pool permit and it should give you the guidelines on there
here is Riverheads http://www.riverheadli.com/Pool.pdf

I think it depends on the town you live in. I used to know the laws in each town when I worked at a pool store but I forgot them now. Your best bet is to call the town.
