BTDT moms - i need help
My 7 month old has always been a good sleeper...sleeping 7PM-6:30. He as always been an early riser, but the past week he has been waking up at 4:30-5:30! I don't mind since I get up at 5:30 anyway, but he won';t go back to sleep...he is wide awake. I tried ignoring him for up to 45 minutes, but he gets himself all upset. Once i walk in there, he is smiling and happy to see me....
It gets earlier and earlier...and what happens is he is so tired by 8 and then his whole day is off and he is cranky...
Should I try to keep him up later?? he goes to sleep really easily at around 7:15...no fighting it...
Help please!!!!!!!!

Re: BTDT moms - i need help
I can tell you from experience with my DD - keeping her up later never worked. It just made her overtired, and was harder to get her to sleep, and to stay asleep. I know that with DD - she goes thru phases where she just doesn't sleep well. They always pass... and only last a few weeks. This week she's been waking up at 5:30am everyday - standing in her crib - crying for "dada or mum". It has also been the only tiome where CIO doesn't work.

Re: BTDT moms - i need help
My 7 months old does this too every once in a while. Ususally I take her in bed with me if she won't calm down. I can ususally eek about 30 min of sleep out of her that way. Sometimes, she's just up and ready to go- especially when she's learned somethign new( "OOOh, I have feet" or " Ohhh I can roll over" )

Re: BTDT moms - i need help
I read that actually putting them to bed earlier made him sleep later So we tried and It works for us- Bryan goes to bed at 7.30 and sleeps until 8-830.
