She will be playing a closeted lesbian cheerleader who turns to Veronica when a blackmailer threatens to out her and a number of other gay students at Neptune High.

I love Veronica Mars, but this seems a little "stunt cast-y" to me. I didn't like when they had America's Next Top Model on there either. I mean Kevin Smith and Joss Whedon are one thing. It will be interesting to see how she does.
