what is a normal range weight for a 3 month old?
I am reading that some of your 3 month olds are 15 pounds and Gillian got weighed today and was 13 pounds 1 oz. I took her away this weekend and everywhere she went she was being called chunky baby, chunky money, oh my god she looks so much older. I could clearly see at the last gtg that she seemed a little bigger then some other 3 month olds. So I am wondering what is normal? I have to post some new pics.

That weight is perfect. That was the weight of my friends DD last week at her 4 month appt. Nothing wrong with a bigger baby!

at 3 months my dd was 12 lbs. 10 oz
and ds was 16 lbs and 5 oz. so not sure what "normal is". but as long as the child is growing at a steady healthy pace, its "normal" for them.

Jiavana was 12lbs at her 4 mth appointment. At her 6 mth she was 15lbs.

My son actually had his 3 month appt when he was 14 weeks old, but he was 15 pounds 3 ounces. I think he's big for his age and he is in the 75th percentile so 13 pounds sounds great. The doctor said at this age they should be gaining 1-2 pounds per month so as long as she is then she's doing great!

we have the opposite - at her three month visit (they shceduled her early but still...) samantha was 8lbs 9 oz....she's a peanut!

we go on Thursday so I'll let you know, but she was 11 lbs 11 oz at 8 weeks - so I'm pretty confident she's at least 13 lbs.

Matty was 11 lbs 4oz at his two month checkup. I've always heard "12lbs for 12 weeks" .
We go on Thursday for his 12 week checkup too!

At my DD's three month check-up she was 13.5 lbs and a little over 24 inches. Ped said she was in the 50th percentile on weight.
