NYC employees
Its open enrollment time. I have the free GHI plan but I have a 25%coinsurance which came out to almost 4K for my last IVF cycle (plus 2K for non-covered services).
I am thinking of switching plans. Even if I have to pay $200 a month it might be worth it.
Does anyone have a different NYC policy that covers IF?

Re: NYC employees
I have been doing some research on the insurance companies offered to NYC employees and haven't found any that cover 100% of ivf yet, but I'm still looking. I spent about 3 hours today on the phone and on the internet. It's so confusing! I'll keep you posted if I find out anything useful, can you do the same? Thanks

That's what I have. That's state employees, I believe.

Re: NYC employees
I work for the Dept. of Ed. and I have HIP Prime. I don't know what the coverage is for infertility (I looked on the web site) but I have no co-pays for ANYTHING. I've also been really happy with the choice of doctors. I can poke around some more if you're interested. Are you DOE too?

That's what I have right now, they will cover some meds, and endless IUIs, but no IVF
