Living Room Coat Closet - Paint
Hi,
Our living room has a coat closet (it's right near the front door). We painted the closet door (and the molding) pure white, and did the same with the inside of the front door. The room itself is a neutral beige-ish color.
I like the way the front door looks, but for the closet door, I feel almost like the white makes it stand out too much. I just can't remember if I've ever seen one painted the same color as a room...
What did you guys do with your closet doors in your living room - white or the same color as the room?

Our front door and coat closet are also right next to each other. we painted them and the molding white. I think it looks good.

we had all the closets in our house painted the same color as the room it's in.

I think you could go either way. If you think it stands out too much maybe you should paint it the same color as the room.

Ours is white, but that because there are three other doors in close proximity that are painted white and I think they should all be the same.

The insides of our closets are all white. I don't want to have to repaint them again if we re-paint the rooms or when we move out.
