Not really sure where to post this.. RE: C-section ladies..

I apologize if this has been discussed recently, but I don't really post as often as I used to..

I had Abbie a little over 4 months ago.. I just had my third AF PP and my abdomen is sooo sore.. Tonight I took a prescription strength advil because it was so sore. Is this normal?

how long does it take for your belly to start feeling "normal" again? Does it ever go away? TIA

I was sore for a long time. DD is now 7 months old - Now it only hurt when it's rainy or I have AF.

I would say that general soreness was gone by 4 mo pp but I do get soreness pains once in a while and some days my incision just downright hurts!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but did you girls have staples or stitches? I had disolvable stitches, and they are gone already, and my incision is all healed. My dr. told me I will not even see a scar in about a yearChat Icon It has not hurt me once. I had horrible muscle pain at first, though.

I'm glad you asked this. I was wondering the same thing. I had Christopher just under 5 months ago and my incision still hurts and my abdomen is still sore. I actually think it stopped hurting for a while, but then about 2 weeks ago it started again.

I had staples and didn't feel any discomfort once the staples were removed. I forget sometimes that I even had a c-section. I am 7 weeks PPChat Icon

Sometimes it is itchy but I think that is just healing.

Same here. Staples and the soreness was gone by 6 weeks post partum. Everybody heals differently though Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
