The coxsackie virus...
I kept DD home from daycare yesterday b/c of a fever and runny nose...brought her in this morning to find out 2 kids went home yesterday with confirmed coxsackie virus. Got a call that DD's fever went up from 99.2 to 100.6, so i picked her up and made a doctors appt for this afternoon to get her checked out.
There are 2 spots on her as of now, one on her ankle and another on her cheek. She's so mushy & sad :(

so sad...my friend's son has this too - it went around his day care. Hope he is better soon - I had it when I was an adult and it was horrible - I can't imagine a poor little one with it.

My understanding from the mulitple cox sackie cases in our house is that it isn't on ankles or cheeks. They're on the feet, hands & mouth.

Andrew just got over it. Day care sent notices home last Friday and he developed it over the weekend. Andrew had blisters (looked like little red dots at first) on his feet and palms and wrists.
