I got pulled over by a cop the other day
because they couldn't see Luka in the carseat as I was driving in HOV. I love HOV it only took 40 minutes to get to queens in rush hour traffic including getting pulled over. I never enjoyed it before but I did anticipate it happening.

Tonight will be the first-time I take the HOV with DS. We'll see what happens.

kids are counted as passengers and you can drive legally in the HOV lane
I'm really careful in the HOV lane though. A woman in my defensive driving class was very bitter and said she was only given it because she was in teh HOV lane with her kids and since he pulled her over (not seeing them) gave her a ticket for something.
SO I make sure I'm not doing anything to give them any other reason for a ticket! LOL

It wasn't a problem at all I rolled down the rear window and mine and as he was walking over he saw Luka. He was very nice about it

I know this will happen to me someday because I take the HOV lane everyday with my DS for about 30 minutes each way.
