For those women that are in their late 20's to 30's....

Do you use any products to prevent wrinkles? if you do which ones do you use? My friend mentioned to me that I should start now cause once they appear i'm doomed. Is this true?

you know, I was, but it was expensive and I stopped using it. I probably really should go back to it.

Yes I do already... I am 31... I never go in the sun anymore, I use SPF 15 everyday.. I quit smoking.. and I use anti-wrinkle creams!

Well I started to notice a few wrinkles when I was 28.. so that is when I changed my ways... and those few are still there but now I feel like I am doing my best to pervent them for the future.

ETA: I use Mary Kay Miracle set

I wish I knew the answer to this because I was thinking about going out and buying some products but a few people told me that I shouldn't start now because by the time I'm 50 my skin will have become immuned to any thing that helps prevent wrinkles...I'm so confused...

I started using anti-wrinkle cream when I was 27. I have tried several, but always retun to Clinque's anti-gravity cream for both the face and the eyes. It is moderately priced (in comparison with other name brands) and works well for me.

ETA: I wash my face with Ivory soap and water. I have tried so many products, but I swear it works best for me.

I am 38 and I use simple Vitamin E cream that I buy at BJ's. It is only like $6 and I have been using it for years (I am a total sun worshiper, never use sunscreen) I am still wrinkle freeChat Icon

I have't started yet, but i've been thinking the same thing. I just don't know what product to use. There are so many to choose from.

I am 26 and just recently started using Neutrogena Anti Wrinkle Anti Acne cream. I also have Neutrogena wrinkle eye cream that I use every now and then.

I was actually just thinking about this too. I still get acne, so I don't think about wrinkles too much, but I have noticed the area under my eyes looking pretty beat. I bought a moisturizer from Ponds & that helps a little.

I think if you don't see any wrinkles, the best thing to do is use a sunscreen & change your cleanser & moisuturizer to something less drying. If you are using something for oily skin, you may not need to anymore as you get older.

ETA- i was using the Neutragena Anti Wrinkle/Anti Acne face wash, but not so much for wrinkles, more so b/c the Alpha Hydroxies in it for wrinkles actually help me with my acne b/c it works as an exfoliator.

I just switched to Neutrogena Fresh Foaming cleanser, b/c it is more gentle.

Did you try the Anti Wrinkle/Acne cream? I have very sensitive skin and have had no problems with it.

I like most Neutrogena products, and I have tons of little samples of Clinique and other high-end creams and eye creams, so I use those.

I think, though, the best thing is sunscreen. I love high end cosmetics but I don't buy into $100 face creams at all. My inexpensive Neutrogena lotion with SPF 15 has served me well- I am 34 and feel pretty pleased with my skin.

This post just depressed the crap out of me! I just turned 27, and I hadn't even given any thought to wrinkles, but now how can i NOT think about them?

Re: For those women that are in their late 20's to 30's....

The only real way to prevent wrinkles is to wear sunscreen, stay away from smoking and stay out of the sun. I use moisturizer with SPF in it and I have been using under eye cream (added moisture) since my early 20s (I'm almost 27).

Re: For those women that are in their late 20's to 30's....

I never used to use moisturizer because I have oily skin, and I never used sunscreen on a daily basis either. But I've used eye cream for a LONG time (I'm 35 now and started using it in my early 20's).
DH and I just moved to Colorado and it's very dry here, so I have to use moisturizer. I use Neutrogena with sunscreen during the day, and Olay regenerist at night (plus I drink a TON of water which helps keep the skin hydrated).
