Carry on Luggage...

Does anyone know the size requirements for a carry on? I have LARGE luggage but nothing great for a carryon besides a backpack and diaperbag... I have a small suitcase thats about 2 1/2' tall and about a foot wide. Does anyone know if I can take it on board the plane with me?

Re: Carry on Luggage...

You should be able to as long as it will fir in the overhead or under the seat. I think most airlines have the measurements on their website.

Do you think it would fit under a seat? That is the guideline they use. Or go to the airline's website, they usually have that info on there

Do you think having the sling will help us with free hands?

I thought I was VERY organized, but it was still a little chaotic, not that everyday isn't with 2 kidsChat Icon best thing to do is unload everything and send Derek to go get a luggage cart and load that up... Chris insisted on carrying all 5 bags of luggage plus carryonsChat Icon I finally left him and went and got a cart... MENChat Icon

could help... I had Mallory in the stroller and I attached stuff to that....also, don't get on the plane first .... they preboard people with kids, which means you are on there the longest before take-off, we found that to be a big problem!Chat Icon

I can TOTALLY see Derek doing that!!! I don't have a stroller. My mom brought the double down with her (one less thing for us). I need a double slingChat Icon

ETA: We must get on the plane 1st. No real biggie for us. Emma has her Leapster. We are on Southwest where we dont have assigned seats. BEST thing about having kids, at preboard you get on 1st and get great seats when they arent assigned!
