Area Rugs

Where can I get inexpensive area rugs? We need so many and I can't see spending $1,000 for each of them! Any suggestions?

Re: Area Rugs

If you are willing to order online there is rugsdirect.com.
When I was looking for rugs I saw the same ones from this site in Macys and they were much more $$$ in Macys.
We ended up finding ours in Target though, for about $100. It is not the best quality, but it is the exact colors I wanted which I could not find anywhere else.

I've ordered from a seller on Ebay w/no problems: Masterpieces1

And I just ordered a rug from CSN Rugs. I received the rug in a week (free shipping) and it was 50-100 cheaper than any of other rug websites, plus they have a 30 day return policy.

You may also want to check out Marshalls/Home Goods.

We also got a great price on an area rug at Home Depot Expo.

Saw a carpet there for $199.00 it was 259 in fortuoff and 249 on the internet. I had fortunoff match the price b/c i had gift cards to use but montauk had thousands of styles.

Re: Area Rugs

Hey Dags!!!

I got mine at HSN.com - it was a really good price. My only issue with area rugs is that I feel like it sheds EVERYWHERE. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hey there! What do you mean??? Ugh I need at least 4 or 5 of them and that's just for downstairs....and I'm not even sure of the size to get or where they go - under the couch, not under the couch, etc.! Oh well! Chat Icon

Re: Area Rugs

Target and JCPennys. We got ours at Montauk Rug and Carpet--I wouldn't call them cheap by any means, but price was OK and they had a big selection.

ETA My rug sheds red fibers all over everything, all the time!!!

Re: Area Rugs

I went to a carpet store, and bought the size i needed, one for the living room, and one for the dining room, I bought it by the foot, and they cut it and bound it for me, it was alot cheaper, and when it gets old and dirty for the $300 it cost, i can go out and get two more.
