Amazing story re: dolphins and pregnancy!
My DH's friend went to Jamaica for his honeymoon. He and his wife weren't TTC-ing necessarily, I don't think... but I guess they stopped being as "careful" the month of the wedding.
Anyway, they did the swim with the dolphins thing and while they were in the water with a bunch of other couples, they gave the dolphins a ring. They told the dolphin to give the ring to whoever was pregnant and they gave it to DH's friend's wife!
Needless to say, 1-2 weeks later, AF never showed up and she was pregnant!!! Isn't that amazing!!?!??! The dolphins knew before she did!!!! Maybe the dolphin just made a lucky guess, but I would like to believe otherwise

This may be far fetched but I am going to guess that women give off some sort of hormonal "odor" when they are pregnant. I only say this because my friend's dog used to sniff her tummy when she was pregnant. Maybe dolphins have a strong sense of smell like that of a dog?

That is an amazing story & I have heard that before. When we did the dolphin swim on our HM, they asked if any of the woman were pregnant bc if so, they advise you to not go in the water with the dolphins. They say the dolphins can sometimes surround the pregnant woman & not let her out of the water (trying to protect)
