What girls on here live in the mastic / shirley area?
My hubby has another house out there or at least his family does and my FIL always would fix it up to the best of his abilities by himself, before he past away last yr. (the house is more of a shack) My FIL always wanted hubby to go up there to help so the kids (grandkids could enjoy it.) we went out the last two saturdays and we all had a good time. Even if we were fixing it up. I am not very familiar with the area but I know where the Kohls shopping center is and where the Dunkin Donuts is, Dollar Tree too.
1. I just wanted to know if there is any good places to take the kids, for a few hours?
2. Any good retsurants that are family friendly ? not like a ruby Tuesdays or TGIF and restaurant seafood place too.
3. Any other stores around other then the ones I mentioned above?

HI! I live in Mastic Beach, other than what you've already mentioned (Kohls shopping center) and all the fast food places around there. We usually travel out of the area for places to eat, we either go further east Moriches or Riverhead, or we go west to Patchogue. For shopping I usually travel to the outlets or Riverhead for Target, Walmart, there are a whole bunch of stores more toward Riverhead.

what about restaurants? or things for the kids to do? other then sports plaus been there several times but not keen on it.

Theres Boomers - its a little amusement place- they have indoor and outdoor activities, its off the expressway at exit 63 or 64.
