OK..PRETTY SURE we're doing a Pooh nursery but WHICH ONE?

that way we can use it when baby #2 comes around....plus we LOVE Pooh!

But there are 2 sets that we like (I like...) can't decide!

Please give me your most honest opinions (that includes if you think we should go girly instead of Pooh!!)

I'm not a huge fan of Winnie.. I always thought he wined too much.. lol

So I like the 2nd set because I love Eyeore and Tiggger.

I think going with a unisex pattern is fine, that is what we did. When Jack gets older we can figure out what we want his big boy room in and we will still have the other room as a unisex nursery.

Sorry but I'm not a big fan of Pooh nurseries. Especially for a little girl.
I really loved the other bedding sets you had picked out.

thank you! I appreciate your honesty! While I do LOVE some of the other sets I've seen for a girl, I think it's in our best interest to gp neutral and add girl flair to it...

then again, I could totally change my mind! WE haven't seen anything in person yet!Chat Icon

I agree with Monkeybride however, you don't have to go "girly". You can pick a very plain set that is neutral and then add Pooh accents like pictures, bookends and things like that.

Babies R Us has a nice gender neutral set that is all different shades of ivory. For a girl you could do a light pink wall and if your next is a boy you can just change the wall color and keep all the Pooh accessories.

Am I making any sense LOL!!!!

Pottery Barn has some really cute nurseries that would be great for a boy or a girl. I'm not a huge Winnie the pooh fan either.
Plus I like the Pottery barn stuff since you can but them individually. I just bought Jake a bumper and sheet and the bed skirt so I saved $$ by not purchasing the comforter which you really cannot use anyway.

Re: OK..PRETTY SURE we're doing a Pooh nursery but WHICH ONE?

thank you lorimari and diana for your opinions! part of me really wants to do something girly like flowers and butterflies but it seems like a waste of $$ to me if it won't last too long.

Maybe we will go with a gingham or something and accent with pooh stuff! our plan is to move Alyson to a big girl room and let her choose what she likes and the nursery will still be the nursery.

I like the second set. It's more subdued. The first one seems to have a lot going on.

I agree. Depending on the size of the nursery it may be too much!

But I love the second one!!

hmm, that's hard. But since you know you are having a girl, I think it would be more fun to go a little more girly. These seem good if you don't know what you are having. They are all adorable though, whatever you choose.

I love pooh and so does my son. I like all the sets but for a boy (future) I think the 1st is too girly. My friend had a really gender neutral gorgeous one (first pic) but the website I found it on had out of stock- so i am not sure if it has been discontinued. Here are that one and a couple others I found.

Oh I hate to say this too, but I'm not a big fan of Pooh either, but if you like it that is all that counts, we all have different tastes I'm sure there are okenty of people who didn't like my themes either. I'd look at the "classic Pooh" patterns, they are a little more subdue. I think Target carries one of them.

Our of all of them I like this one the best. I don't think its too boyish, too me its kind of country neutral.
