Charlie Horse
I woke up this morning at like 5:45 w/ the worse Charlie Horse. I think I said every curse word in the book. My husband woke up & I was not the nicest person and screamed RUB MY LEG!!!! I think I scared the be-jesus out of him!! It actually still hurts. Just another joy of pregancy that I thought I'd share!!

That happened to me the other day. It hurt for 2 days after When I mentioned it to Dr. K, he said yup, it's part of pregnancy.

oh my god i woke up with my first charlie horse this morning too it hurt so bad. i kept rubbing it but felt like my husband gave me a dead leg. i still have a little pain from it. what causes it?

Thats so funny that you should mention this, cause i woke this morn at around 6am with a charlie horse too! It was horrific! I thought i was gonna die... ok not die, but it hurt, and my husband woke up to me screaming... he thought something was seriously wrong like with the baby, and i'm like "HURRY RUB MY LEG, OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! Finally it went away... I HATE THEM!!!

Ahh ok... Thank you! I understand know. That has happened twice to me. My sister and a good friend told me that was very common... but it is horrible!

I remember those days to and I know DH does not remember them fondly either. They HURT!! Relax take a hot shower or try soaking your legs in the bathtub.

I was getting them a few times a night a few weeks ago, I'd say when I was around 26-30 weeks pregnant. They seem to not be happening now though. I'd wake up before it got really bad, and I read in a book to lightly point your toes up to the ceiling, so that's what I'd do. Not a forceful point, just almost like little taps, and if I did it early on in the cramp it went right away.

i hate them....my BIGGEST fear is getting one during labor COULD YOU IMAGINE? omg!!!!!! my doc said its lack of potassium ---i eat alot of bananas now

oh I don't miss those days! i feel for you! I used to wake up every morning and stretch with out thinking and that would set the charlie horse off. sssooo painful! I was told to drink more water. feel better!

This happened to me when I was pg. I tried to get up out of bed and fell on the floor. It scared the crap out of DH. My leg was sore for 2 days after, thank god it only happened once.
