I dont know where to post this
I dont even know if I have a question...I have NO clue what is going on...I am goingto have to walk very carefully out of my office today because I have issues.
I started spotting a bit on Friday, then I spotted again on Sunday and then yesterday...I did not mind this so much because I was at home each of these time.
Then I spotted A BUNCH today and have pretty much ruined my Khaki pants.
(the spotting has all been a dark, dark brown)
Its so odd.. I am on CD 21 of a 32 cycle and I have never spotted this much, EVER!!!!
I can't figure out if its all the cysts rupturing (even though I have NO pain) or if its from the birth control pills or what!! It's really getting very annoying!

Yikes!! I'm not sure what is going on but I would definitely consult your MD...doesn't sound too kosher..

Deb, YOu are on the BCP this month right? It is VERY common to spot when you are on the pill. The same exact thing happened to me. The spotting (which they call "break-through bleeding") can be SO heavy at times you need a pad/tampton. I had to use tampons! I was convinced something was wrong or AF was early. My doctor told me that as long as I was still taking my BCP that it was NOT AF and was break through bleeding. And, it's not uncommon. Basically what it is is when a certain type of BCP is not strong enough for you - meaning not enough estrogen in it - that cause the bleeding. Since I was mid-month on the pills the gave me additional estrogen supplements to take. WIthin a day, the bleeding stopped. The following month she put me on a different BCP.
SOme of my friends have had the same problem. Don't worry, it's really common. Call your doctor and explain what is happening, I"m sure it's just the BCP is not strong enough for you. Kathy

I agree with Kathy...I had a problem with that when I was on BCP's. Especially when the manufacturers started lowering the estrogen in the pills. I was having breakthrough bleeding all the time...and I would have to use a pad or tampon.
Call your Dr. ...they will take care of it.

I agree with Kathy and Gertyrae, Deb - i think its just breakthrough bleeding from the BCP, and you probably just need to inform your doctor about it.. Its more annoying than anything serious

You got that right!
I have never been on BCP and my DR really did not tell me anything about it.
Thanks ladies for filling me in, I feel a lot better.

This happened to me and my sister. The Doctor changed my prescription right away. with my sister she actually bled so much she had to wear a tampon. It was from the pill. He also changes her prescription. Don't worry. But I would definitely call your DR.

With only ten days left in the cycle...and this being the only cycle that I am on BCP...do you think its horrible if I just wait it out?

Hi Deb, No I don't think it wont hurt you at all, it's just a pain having to deal with it. But I would let your doctor know about it just for your medical records.
