Need fun ideas for a housewarming party
Now that our pad is almost all set up, we are having a housewarming party next month. What are some fun things, like themes, drink ideas, that we can do.
I have already decided to get one of Bed Bath & Beyond's bucket'o frozen drinks. What else can I do?

The last 2 parties we had ended up being beer pong tournaments.
I plan on having an 80s themed party next I have been waiting for a while to have this party and I am really excited for it. We are going to dress up 80s style, play 80s music, games, etc.

I plan on having an 80s themed party next I have been waiting for a while to have this party and I am really excited for it. We are going to dress up 80s style, play 80s music, games, etc.
80s themed sounds AWESOME! that sounds like a good idea for our birthday! I'll keep that in mind...
I guess we'll just keep it low key cause people are coming to see the apt and stuff

I had a 80's house party a few years ago - it was AWESOME. We all got dressed up in 80s style clothes and played only 80s music. It was definately a fun time!

two of DHS friends had parties recently..one a just because and one house warming..one was a poker themeand we had a blast!!!
The other was a luau theme and it was ok..mostly the food and the drinks they had were fun..

okay so we went to party city today and they had such cute things but because we didn't do the theme from the beginning we chose not to do anything...so our official theme is...
"let's see how we are going to fit, feed and intoxicate 40 people in our one bedroom apartment without the floor caving in and the toilet running over" theme

update: there was no theme, it did get a bit hot a few times but was well worth it! was a great party (in my opinion at least)...

It was a great party and everyone fit and no "overflowing" problems as I recall!!

We are having a party on Saturday night. We are doing a luau because it is easy to do last minute... especially since I will be away Thurs and Fri!

We just had our housewarming party. We went with a fiesta theme. We had mexican food, sombreros all over the place, lots and lots of margaritas and sangria. It was fun!
