GD has NO impact on having a natural birth. Some doctors will throw you the 'big baby" threat but it is total b/s. With controlled GD your baby will be a normal size. uncontrolled GD is dangerous for some. but as long as you are under a doctor's care you should be fine.
I had a c/s but that was because Molly was breech and that had NOTHING to do with GD at all.

I had GD and had a vaginal birth. I never thought of not having one unless medically necessary - even if baby was big I would have rather try naturally first. My baby was only 7lbs 2 oz (although 3 weeks early).
