bowel movement color in 4 month old TMI

My DS the past 4 days as gone from not pooping to pooping. Today he pooped 4 times. The last poop was light, mucus yellow. So I took his temperature and he was fine, been eating fine, laughing, playing,etc. I called the ped because I had read that light yellow means cold or stomach virus. He told me it's normal! I was relieved. Anyone else experience this? He has always pooped green; formula fed baby.

LOL! I am laughing because this happens to us. Not to be gross and I know this is totally TMI, but you asked so....

Usually DD's first poop is dark green and if she goes more then twice the last one or two are really light yellow in color and even looked a little runny. I never called the dr. because she always seems fine but I've noticed this always happens when she goes a few times in the day.
