Has anyone ever ordered sofa/love seat from JC penny?
We have an apartment and I HATE the sofa we have now. I just wanted something new and not to expensive before the baby comes. JC Penny has very inexpensive sofae. has anyone ordered from them? Do they have the items in the store that I can actually go and see? TIA

the JC Penny at Queens Center Mall had Furniture on the top floor.
I currently have a table from them that I love!

We have 2 couches that we bought from the JC Penney Home Store near the Smithhaven Mall. I think they are by Carol Madden or something like that. A woman with blond hair's line. Anyway, the quality is good, and we are rough on our couches - we kind of Fonzi-jump on them, and they are holding up well.

I love my couch from them. We've had it for years and it's held up fine. And the price was pretty cheap!

That made me laugh! 
We are getting delivery of our new Transitional Sleeper Chair tomorrow. They were supposed to come Monday and then didn't  but they agreed to discount the shipping.

the online store and the physcial store are two different and unrelated things.
there store reminds me of any other furniture store you see like on route 110 in farmingdale. many over prices peices.
i brought from the online store (bedroom set and kitchen table)
Shipping is reasonable but i wish it was a tad less. they charge per peice and not by visit

you can avoid shipping costs by having them deliver to a JC Penny store or Catalog Center, then picking it up there and delivering it yourself.
It worked for use since we had a table & chairs and they had to be assembled any way so everything fit into my jeep just fine.
It saved us about $200.

it depends on the item...most big stuff (my kitchen table and hutch) don't allow you to do that...smaller stuff, yes

I got my DR furniture and bedroom furniture from JC Penney. I ordered the DR furniture at the store near Smith Haven Mall while I ordered the bedroom furniture online. The delivery charge was definitely lower when I ordered it from the store. Also, the delivery service was much better, so I think they use different carriers.
