Secrets Excellence Riviera Maya-update! Back home!
Just dropping in on the travel board! Heavenly here...i highly rate this place, just as good if not better than the Secrets Excellence in DR. Keyboard is slightly different here...has an ñ on the board...so having some problem typing. The margaritas don't help either, aha.
ETA:
We're back and had the best trip. We only left the resort once to do some snorkeling! I would honestly recommend this place to anyone. They just changed ownership, the new name is Excellence Riviera Maya (no longer Secrets) but it looked like they were only making improvements like better liquor at all bars, more variety on the menus and a few changes to the kinds of restaurants.
I'll post pics in the next few days.

We went to secrets excellence for our HM two months ago and had the BEST time!!! we only left the resort to go horseback riding on the beach and swim with the dolphins! But we are planning to go back for our 1 year anniversary!

We went there for our honeymoon last yr. It was so great. Did they add new restuarants? The bar had great liquors choices to begin with too. We didnt get to back for our 1 yr but maybe we will for our 2 yr

DH and I went to Secrets Excellence in Dominican Republic and both swear its the best resort we'd ever been to!
