Daycare gifts?
Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I need to get the teachers something... Do I need to go up to Macy's & get Godiva - or can I just settle on Whitman's?

you could also get giftcards to starbucks... that was my favorite v-day gift when i was student teaching.

Being a teacher, I wouldn't expect anything on Valentine's Day. I think anything would be a great gesture.

Starbucks is a great idea - I went up to Macy's & got the Godiva. I couldn't just run up to the supermarket. If I would have planned better I probably would have gone to a better chocolate...oh well...
Now here's another question...this daycare is strictly a no peanut policy. Can I assume that the teachers are smart enough to look at the truffles? I completely forgot about it until I was driving home.

I think that should be fine - they probably wouldn't each the chocolates until the end of the day anyways - the kids would probably all want one
