I think it's an informative article and give people a picture of NO that they may or may not have been exposed to before.

But why was it necessary to get a little publicity in there by adding this line?

"Anne Rice is the author of the forthcoming novel "Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt."

Yeah I think the plug was all the New York Times. Most media add a little something I guess in case you wanna know "who is Anne Rice?"

My DH and his friend actually "camped out" in their car in front of her home while at Mardi Gras many years ago. (not on purpose, was the only spot they came upon) I wonder whats become of it



ETA: I also wonder if Jesse Jackson will also give her a hard time for use of the word refugee
